Join us for a networking buffet dinner before the evening speakers begin.
Dr. Christopher Commichau, MD will introduce the program and present “lessons learned” from a Program Director’s perspective.
Dr. Sonja Potrebic, MD, PhD will present the Evidence-Based Medicine Toolkit, which enables Program Directors to teach evidence-based principles of analysis and article deconstruction to improve the way their residents practice medicine. She will also discuss the difference in analysis capabilities of her own residents pre- and post-EBM Toolkit education.

Hear from three speakers with three with different perspectives (i.e., coordinator, large vs. small programs, newer vs. more seasoned directors): Carol Piunti, Vicki Wheelock, MD, and James Otis, MD will each discuss how the proposed 2011 duty hour changes will affect their programs. These presentations will be followed by an interactive discussion of the issues raised.
