Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor of Neurology - Dementia
Location:Stanford University School of Medicine
Skills Required:The major criteria for appointment for faculty in the MCL shall be excellence in the overall mix of clinical care, clinical teaching, scholarly activity that advances clinical medicine, and institutional service - appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fulfill. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to interact across a wide range of clinical, translational and basic science programs offered at Stanford.

Job Description
We are particularly interested in candidates who have Board certification from the ABPN, eligibility for a California medical license, and suitable clinical, teaching, and scholarship experience in the field of dementia. We expect the successful candidate to provide care for outpatients with memory disorders, conduct innovative clinical research and scholarship, and teaching of medical students, residents, and clinical fellows. The position requires a commitment to scholarly work involving clinical research in dementia. Resources include collaborative opportunities with cutting-edge imaging technologies under development at Stanford's Lucas Imaging Center, a large proteomics program geared to clinical collaborations, a supportive clinical trials milieu and a successful dementia fund-raising program.
