Leadership Course

.  For example, should the AUPN support participation by neurologists in clinical imaging?  Do the certification programs of the UCNS appear to be advantageous for neurology?  Should the AUPN coordinate its activities even more closely with the ANA , especially the education programs?

A discussion of current and future trends in residency training will occupy most of this meeting. At a time when clinical and research roles are becoming increasingly diverse and complicated, residency training is increasingly strait-jacketed by mandates from the ACGME. Directors of training programs, and neurology departments in general, need flexibility, imagination, and freedom to design and implement patterns of training that meet current and future needs of neurology.  In this Round Table we look into the future of neurology residency training, and examine our options.

Our speakers will make every effort to invite the opinions of the attendees. Please plan to attend this Leadership Course, and offer your own insights and experience.
