AUPN Membership Benefits

Dear AUPN Colleagues: 

Included with your yearly AUPN membership, are several benefits including but not limited to: keeping you connected with your peers, advertising open job positions, and keeping you informed on upcoming events, newly appointed chairs, and other relevant AUPN news. Below are highlights of some of the many benefits AUPN offers you.

Educational Programming
AUPN offers Educational Courses that are designed towards current topics and/or issues our members want to know about. These courses are targeted towards Neurology Chairs, Residency Program Directors, Clerkship Directors, Small Academic Departments of Neurology, and we offer a mentoring program for Chairs 0-3 years in their role. AUPN Saturday Email
Each Saturday, the President of the AUPN sends an email to keep members informed on upcoming events, newly appointed chairs, and other relevant AUPN news. Members are welcome to submit news they would like to share across our membership.

AUPN Job Board
AUPN provides Academic Neurology Chairs is the ability to post open job positions on the AUPN website free of charge!  These positions are maintained on the website for three months to allow time to find that ideal candidate.  In addition, AUPN lists open leadership roles, such as open Chair positions, in our weekly Saturday email, which is sent to our entire membership.

AUPN Chairs Discussion Forum
AUPN offers a quick and easy way for all Chairs of Academic Neurology Departments to hold private, collaborative group discussions around any topics that are important to you. Discussions are threaded and you can post your questions, ideas or topics for discussion or simply join in on the conversation. Access the Chairs Discussion Forum under the Members Only Section of the AUPN website.

New Chairs Appointment
A substantial benefit of engaging with the AUPN is the opportunity to connect with those who share the prestigious title of Chair of Academic Neurology.  AUPN is committed to recognizing those new to this role as well as those who advance to other institutions.  We notify the community when changes occur through our weekly Saturday email.

Discounted Travel to AUPN Programming
AUPN is pleased to offer a special travel benefit for all AUPN members! Should you choose to travel with Delta for any of AUPN's Educational Programming, you can receive up to a 10% discount. A specialized Meeting Event Code will be given to all AUPN members, which they can enter when booking their flight on www.delta.com

Please Update Your AUPN Profile

AUPN will soon begin our 2019 dues process. We would like to ensure all records are accurate for this process, and that all Chairs and Directors are receiving the most out of their institutional membership.  Therefore, we ask that you please take 5 minutes of your time and update your profile by November 15th.

To update your profile: Go to www.aupn.org, click on Members Only and log into your account. If you have forgotten your username please email neuro@aupn.org. If you have forgotten your password, please reset it. Do not create a new profile.

**In addition, please complete this form by November 15th and remit to neuro@aupn.org. The Residency Program Director, Child Neurology Residency Program Director, Clerkship Director, and Research Program Director at your institution are covered by the AUPN annual dues and therefore are entitled to all AUPN benefits. This includes receiving the weekly Saturday emails. The AUPN Executive Office will update your institution's profile to ensure it is up to date.
