As the COVID-19 outbreak continues to evolve and impact our members both professionally and personally, we at AUPN want to let you know that we are here for you during this time of crisis.
All AUPN Spring Programs have been postponed with the hope of holding these sessions via webinars later this year. AUPN will issue refunds for those who registered for the Program Director's Workshop.
In addition, our Saturday emails will continue to keep you informed on relevant AUPN news. As a reminder, members are welcome to submit news they would like to share across our membership. Our job board is also available to post open job positions on the AUPN website free of charge. These positions are maintained on the website for three months to allow time to find that ideal candidate. In addition, AUPN lists open leadership roles, such as open Chair positions, in our weekly Saturday email, which is sent to our entire membership.
Finally, our AUPN Chairs Discussion forum offers a quick and easy way for all Chairs of Academic Neurology Departments to hold private, collaborative group discussions around any topics that are important to you. This forum is a safe place to reach out to your fellow colleagues for input on COVID-19 as the impact varies across the nation.
Stay safe and be well, everyone! If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the AUPN Executive Office at firstname.lastname@example.org or 952-545-6724.

2020 BBRF Young Investigator Grant Extension
The Brain & Behavior Research Foundation has extended the deadline for the 2020 BBRF Young Investigator Grant to Tuesday, March 31, 2020. The BBRF understands that many institutions and institutional staff have been asked to vacate. Thus, if you are unable to submit an Institutional Assurance letter (Application Requirement K) by the end of the month, they ask that you submit your application without the letter and submit the Institutional Assistance letter when available. All applications must be submitted online.
The BBRF Young Investigator Grant program offers up to $35,000 a year for up to two (2) years to enable promising investigators to either extend their research fellowship training or to begin careers as independent research faculty.
Please visit the BBRF website to submit your application. Please also submit your application as early as possible to avoid any last-minute issues that may arise with your submission.
Chairs, please don't forget to pay your 2020 dues! Details regarding what your dues covers and information on how to renew can be found here.
