NEUROLOGY – Three (3) Faculty Positions at UConn Health “Combined Posting”

     3. NeuroOphthalmology

The Department of Neurology at UConn Health (University of Connecticut) is seeking outstanding clinician educators or clinician scientists with fellowship training / expertise in Neuromuscular Diseases, General Neurology, Headache and/or Behavioral Neurology. A faculty position in NeuroOphthalmology is also available through the Division of Ophthalmology, Department of Surgery.

The Department includes 12 faculty members with a wide range of subspecialty interests. Our residency program, shared with Hartford Healthcare, includes 20 residents and fellowships in Stroke, Neuromuscular Disease and Headache.  UConn John Dempsey Hospital is an ultramodern state-of-the-art facility and was recently awarded an “A” patient safety rating by The Leapfrog Group. Neurology Clinic is housed in the beautiful new Outpatient Pavilion. Our suburban Farmington campus is situated in the scenic Farmington River valley, 10 miles west of downtown Hartford and 90 miles from both New York City and Boston.  UConn provides a vibrant academic environment invigorated by the Bioscience Connecticut initiative and our on-campus affiliation with the Jackson Laboratory for Genomic Medicine.
