The University Of Toledo Department of Neurology is recruiting Pediatric Neurologists to join their expanding department. The Department is currently in a growth phase due to an exciting new educational affiliation with Promedica Health Systems, a comprehensive health care network of specialized hospitals and outpatient facilities in Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan. Our department will be moving to the recently renovated Promedica Toledo Hospital in 2017, and will provide comprehensive outpatient Neurology and Neurosurgery services in a newly designed Neuroscience Center on that campus. The candidate will play an integral part in recruiting additional pediatric neurologists over the next few years.
Nationally recognized for excellence in education, the Department administrates a 5-week required clerkship for medical students, a Neurology residency program and several fellowship programs. This position includes teaching responsibilities for medical, other healthcare students and residents, as well as, playing an active role in the neurology and pediatric residency program.
Salary and rank will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. Applicants should be enrolled in the ACGME required 5 year pediatric Neurology residency and be Board Eligible at the time of starting Faculty appointment.
