University of Pennsylvania: Assistant Professor – Intraoperative Monitoring (General Neurology, Neurophysiology, Neuromuscular, Epilepsy), Academic Clinician Track

The Department of Neurology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of intraoperative monitoring and in the field of Neurology, ideally in the area of neurophysiology, but applicants with expertise in general neurology, neuromuscular, and epilepsy would be desirable for additional clinical roles in the department.

Teaching responsibilities may include teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.

Clinical responsibilities may include intraoperative monitoring of patients.

Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree. Board eligible or certified in Neurology; completing fellowship training or post residency training in intraoperative monitoring and having clinical experience performing intraoperative monitoring with board certification in intraoperative monitoring is highly desirable.
