Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School: Division Chief, Movement Disorders, Department of Neurology
The Department of Neurology at Rutgers Robert wood Johnson Medical School seeks a full-time faculty member at the rank of Associate or full Professor to serve as Director of the Division of Movement Disorders. Candidate must have expertise in movement disorders. The start date is flexible. The Director reports to the Chairman of the Department of Neurology. He/she will supervise division faculty, fellows, nurse practitioners and research assistants; overseeing clinical care delivered by division faculty; and promote investigator-initiated scholarship by division faculty. Candidates must be graduates of an ACGME-accredited neurology residency, be board-eligible or certified and have strong interests in clinical research and teaching. Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, Department of Neurology is part of Rutgers University in New Brunswick/Piscataway and is affiliated with the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, the primary teaching hospital for Rutgers RWJ Medical School. The Department of Neurology at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School is an academic department with more than 29 full-time faculty, 12 residents and 5 nationally recognized clinical centers of excellence. The six (6) member Division of Movement Disorders has a forty (40) year record of research accomplishments with specialized services in DBS, Botox, PSP and functional movement disorders.
