Assistant or Associate Professor

The Neuromuscular Division in the Department of Neurology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine has an exciting opportunity for a new faculty member (Assistant or Associate Professor) on either the clinical-educator or tenure-earning track. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in clinical neuromuscular disease and electromyography, as well as a desire to contribute to our research or educational missions.
The Neuromuscular Division is home to Centers of Excellence in ALS and CMT and specialized clinics focused on neurogenetics, myositis and myasthenia gravis. We are also a designated MDA Care Center. We have an active neuromuscular fellowship program; and our faculty lead a broad range of basic, translational and clinical research projects, funded by patient foundations, NIH, industry and philanthropic support.

Applicants must have an M.D. from an accredited Medical School, training in Neurology and Neuromuscular disease and be eligible for a Florida Medical License. Rank and salary are commensurate with experience. Board-certification is preferred.
