Course Description
Governmental advocacy is important for supporting research, public policy, and the practice of Neurology.  This course will review the roles, process and optimal tactics for governmental advocacy at the state and national levels, particularly as relevant for academic neurology.

Learning Objectives

  1. Be able to discuss issues appropriate for governmental advocacy at the state and local levels
  2. Describe resources, tactics and opportunities for state-level advocacy
  3. Describe resources, tactics and opportunities for federal-level advocacy
