University of California, Irvine: Epilepsy Division Chief

The University of California (UC), Irvine, Department of Neurology is recruiting a BC faculty member to lead our Level 4 Comprehensive Epilepsy Program and serve as Epilepsy Division Chief at the UC Irvine Medical Center in Orange, California. Fellowship training in epilepsy/neurophysiology, and experience in a level 4 epilepsy center is required. The academic appointment is expected to be at the Associate Professor or Professor level in the Clinical Health Science Series. Salary will be commensurate with training and experience.

The Department of Neurology at UCI Health (https://www.ucihealth.org/) is an expanding academic program, with a successful residency program and with ACGME-accredited fellowships in Epilepsy and Neurophysiology. The successful candidate will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of subspecialists including neurosurgeons, will further develop the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit and the neurosurgical Epilepsy program will be critical for this position. UC Irvine, located in Orange County with a population of more than three million, has a distinguished tradition of excellence in clinical neuroscience.
