University of Pennsylvania: Assistant Professor in Cognitive/Behavioral Neurology

The Department of Neurology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in either the non-tenure clinician-educator track or academic clinician track. The successful applicant will have experience in the field of Neurology with a focus on Cognitive/Behavioral Neurology. Responsibilities include clinical evaluation of patients with cognitive/behavioral symptoms, particularly those secondary to neurodegenerative conditions. Candidates in either track with appropriate expertise will participate in clinical trials; candidates in the clinician-educator track will participate in clinical research. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education and clinical care.  Applicants to the clinician-education track should have additional qualifications in research. Candidates should be board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology and have additional training in Cognitive/Behavioral Neurology.

The position requires teaching medical students, residents, fellows and trainees at all levels in clinical neurology.  The clinician-education track requires additional teaching regarding research.
