Chief of Neurology, Bellevue Hospital Center, Neurology Service, The Department of Neurology at the NYU Langone Medical Center, a world-class patient-centered integrated academic medical center, has an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Professor or Associate Professor on the tenure-eligible or non-tenure, Investigator Clinician/Educator track (IC/E). 

The successful candidate will be responsible for the Bellevue Hospital Neurology Service as Chief of Service, overseeing patient care, education, and research.  We are seeking an individual with a track record of leadership who understands the current issues confronting healthcare in the public sector. This individual will provide administrative oversight and direction to the neurology trainees on site; provide direct supervision and evaluation of Faculty rotating at Bellevue Hospital; and manage all administrative aspects of running a thriving neurology service.

Strong leadership skills in the clinical aspects of neurology, hospital administration and a commitment to excellence in teaching are required. 

To qualify, you must have a MD or MD/PhD degree, be board certified in Neurology and have, or be eligible for, a NYS license.

The effective date of appointment will be 11/01/18.
